How do I modify or cancel an order?
Once the order has been submitted, you must contact our Customer Service Department by phone to modify or cancel it. Eastern time, Monday through Friday. Once an item has been shipped the order cannot be modified or canceled.

How do I enter a Promotional Code?
On the checkout page there is a box labeled "Promotional Code." If you have a Promotional Code, type it there and then click the "APPLY" button to apply it to your order.

If there is a problem or damage to your item as a result of negligence on the part of the shipping company, you should immediately contact our Customer Service Department.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-Day, In-Home Trial on every rug we sell, except for customized rugs, products sold through our Clearance Outlet and rug pads that have been opened. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it - no questions asked. You are responsible for payment of the return shipping charges. Please note: merchandise returned damaged, without a return authorization number (RA#) or more than 30 days after the RA# was issued may be refused or incur a 20% service fee.

Most items deliver in two to three weeks. In some cases all of the items in your order may not ship together or in the same package. Rug pads and accessories will normally be sent in separate packaging. Shipment of braided rugs may take a little longer, typically being delivered within three to four weeks of the order date. It's hard to accurately predict the delivery time of custom rugs. Some can be produced within a few weeks of the order, but a large, hand-knotted rug may take over six months to weave. Our Customer Service Department will try to keep you informed of the projected ship date as your custom rug is created.
How do I track my order?
Most orders are shipped via E-packet . Pricing and Billing

Do I have to pay sales tax?
There is no sales tax collected on any orders. These include shipping, customs duties, applicable taxes and brokerage fees. You will not be required to pay any additional taxes or fees upon delivery.
How do I get a copy of my receipt?
When you submit your order you are given the option to view a printable version of your receipt. We highly recommend you print this and keep it for your records. You will also receive an order confirmation via e-mail if you provided your e-mail address during checkout. Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged as soon as you click the "Submit Order" button on the checkout page to place your order.
How do credit card pending charges and authorizations work?
Pending Charges - if you use a credit card for an order that was attempted but not completed, an order that was cancelled or an order that is still processing, and a charge from Rugs Direct appears on you statement, it is because your financial institution placed a temporary authorization on your account to ensure funds will be available if the order goes through. Credit Card Authorizations - each time an order is placed an authorization hold will occur on your credit or debit card to confirm the card is valid. The hold should be released within 3-5 business days. For cancelled orders, authorizations may still take 3-5 business days to be released. The length of the hold is determined by your bank or other financial institution that issued your card. You will not be charged for cancelled ordered.
When will my return credit appear on my account?
As soon as we receive your returned merchandise and have inspected it to be certain it is not soiled or damaged, we will credit your account. It may take several days for the bank that has issued your card to process the credit before it appears on your statement.


How does an item qualify for a price match?
Many area rugs look alike but are not identical. To qualify for a price match, the competitor’s product must be the exact same brand, item number, pattern, material, size, shape and color as the one we offer for sale. The competitor's price must be verified at the time of purchase.
What items do not qualify for a price match?
We will not match prices on competitor’s products that are factory seconds, off-quality, clearance or closeout items. HUAHOO reserves the right to verify the item’s identity and competitor’s advertised price before honoring a price match. We also reserve the right to reject any price match request that we determine does not meet our policy's qualifications.
How does a price match affect sales tax, shipping charges or processing fees?
It doesn’t. If applicable, these amounts are added to your price-matched order. If you have any questions about our Price-Match Guarantee, please contact Customer Service.
Do you have an in-home trial?
Yes. If, for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days and we will refund the full purchase price. You are responsible for the return shipping charges. Personalized, custom-made items and opened rug pads are not returnable, unless there is damage or a defect, in which case we will happily provide a replacement of the item you ordered.
